IT Business Analyst | Salesforce | Odgers Berndtson Executive Search Odgers Berndtson is currently looking for an experienced an IT Business Analyst to join the team. The Business Analyst will work on multiple concurrent application / system projects within an enterprise scale environment, including a Salesforce Lightning Platform, working with multiple diverse and often competing user groups. Your responsibility will be to ensure the systems are fully functioning and amended as required. The Business Analyst will undertake the full business analysis life-cycle stakeholder requirement elicitation through to working closely with the Delivery Team. It is customer focused role, for someone with the ability to identify and understand the (internal and/or external) customer's needs and you must be able to communicate well with customers and stakeholders of varying technical abilities. You will require an ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical reality. You thrive on solving problems and are excited at the prospect of working in a key role within a fast-moving environment. Responsibilities & Objectives Working with the wider IT Team supporting Business Architecture Definition & Analysis Managing the business requirements gathering and traceability processes Working with business users, completing requirements elicitation & management and translate their URS (user requirements) into FRS (functional spec) documents and Acceptance Criteria Support and complete technical and non-technical user story writing business process mapping user journey mapping facilitating requirements workshops with different stakeholder groups and participating in backlog creation population and refinement activities Work-products may include ‘as-is’ process maps, use cases/user stories, product backlogs and ‘to-be’ design documents, test scripts Create test scripts and perform QA, System Integration and UAT testing Bridge the gap between business users and technical resources (internal and external) Aligning Technological Approaches with Business and Customer Goals, identifying Benefits and Risk Mitigation approaches Essential Minimum three years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on technological change Proven full life-cycle business analysis Experience with Gartner Magic Quadrant CRM, SaaS solutions and/or other large enterprise systems Business Process Modelling and analytical skills Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in order to relate technical issues and solutions to non-technical people in a clear and informed manner Stakeholder management: managing multiple and conflicting customer demands, setting expectations Ability to work and interact with business users and other members of a geographically distributed team with all levels of an organisation Able to work under pressure and in environment with changing priorities whilst displaying a positive attitude throughout An analytical and methodical approach to investigating problems and resolving issues Experience of Agile and Waterfall project and development methodology Jira and MS Visio experience Desirable BSC or other BA qualifications Experience using Confluence and other Atlassian tools Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201 or ADX 201C) Experience within the Recruiting, HR or Professional Services Industry UX design and tools experience Our business operates in a non-hierarchical manner in order to promote a culture that is empowering to work in.
